  1. Choose TextExpander > Purchase / Register TextExpander... from the menu.

You can upgrade to TextExpander 4.x from an earlier version for $15. If you purchased TextExpander after January 15, 2012, the upgrade is free. Here are the steps:

1. Select TextExpander > Purchase / Register TextExpander... from the menu.
2. Be sure your TextExpander serial number is entered at the top. If you don't have your serial number, click the "Email My Serial #" button to have it sent to you.
3. If you purchased TextExpander after January 15, 2012, click "OK" when the program offers to check if you are eligible for a free upgrade. If you purchased on or before January 15, 2012, click the "Buy Now" button to purchase your TextExpander 4.x upgrade.
